Many beginner triathletes simply load up on liquids, gels, and maybe a nutrition bar or two during their race.  While this might be doable in a sprint or even an olympic distance race, if you’re looking at a longer race or longer training session, this haphazard approach can be devestating to your performance.  Dave Scott, 6 time Ironman World Champ, details a more deliberate and planned nutrition plan.
