Our sample is the women’s version, which differs from the Men’s only in color. The measurements and other features are identical. Compared to the Real Joe bag, you can tell this is a more expensive item. That’s not to diminish the quality of the Real Joe bag, we found nothing lacking in quality on that bag, but the finish and construction of the Elite bag is clearly more expensive. The Elite bag also features adjustable and padded straps found on the Real Joe bag, only a bit higher quality. There appears to be plenty of room inside the Elite Bag:
Capacity:
As with the Real Joe/Real Jane bag, we used the same amount of gear that we normally carry to an event. This includes: Two pairs of shoes, helmet, change of clothes, tri top, bike jersey, warmups, towels, change of clothes, nutrition, visor, socks, and probably a few other things thrown in for good measure. Here’s all the gear:
Did it all fit? Mostly:
As you can see, the bag is straining a bit. Everything fit and there’s a bit of room left to add a few more things, but you can see the helmet hanging from the bag. With the Real Joe/Real Jane bag, everything fit inside the bag, including the helmet in the helmet holder.
