As we start to get more and more products in for review, we’ve decided to update you when these new products arrive.
Late last week we received a box from CatEye, a leading maker of cycle and mutlisport computers and accessories. Inside we discovered the Velo 8 Cycle computer. The Velo 8 is a very entry level computer, but one with more functions than you might expect for a $25 computer.
We were able to quickly install the computer due to it’s bracketless mounting design. The screen is a bit larger than you might expect in an entry-level computer. The computer calculates current, maximum, and average speed, trip distance, total distance, ET, and calories, in addition to a standard clock.
We are able to set up our tire size and adjust the time without problems.
We’ll have an initial review of the CatEye Velo 8 Cycle Computer by next week.
