2014 MightyMan Olympic & Half Distance Triathlons:
Montauk is one of the birth places of triathlon. The sport is growing and athletes want to challenge themselves with longer events. There are few metro area triathlons of this distance. In addition to providing a venue for the athletes, this event will showcase Montauk at a time when the weather is still nice but the summer crowds are not as heavy. This is a great family weekend to spend on the east end with the Sprint distance race on Saturday, and the Olympic and Half Iron distances on Sunday.
